Oh hi there! My name is Carolyn, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to Mosaic Picnic, my creative corner based here in sunny Phoenix, AZ.

We officially launched in the fall of 2024, is a dream turned reality, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

Creating art has always been my greatest joy in life. There’s something magical about starting with raw materials and turning them into something completely unique. For me, art isn’t just about the finished piece—it’s about the process, the exploration, and the joy of creating. As someone with ADHD, I find myself constantly discovering and falling in love with new forms of artistic expression. Every few months, I dive headfirst into a new medium, which keeps my creative journey vibrant and exciting.

It’s from this love of exploration that Mosaic Picnic was born.

The name represents the heart of what this shop is all about: a collection of moments, materials, and memories coming together to create something truly special. Just like a mosaic is pieced together to form a beautiful whole, my art journey is a mosaic of people, places, and experiences. And the “picnic”? That’s a nod to the whimsical, joyful spirit of the outdoors and a personal tribute to one of my fondest memories: my first date with my partner, which was a picnic.

In this space, you’ll find a little bit of everything that sparks joy in me and (hopefully) in you. From handcrafted watercolor paintings and intricate mosaic art to cozy crochet creations and sparkly crystal displays, each item is made with love, care, and a sprinkle of whimsy. I also incorporate natural materials like minerals and crystals to add a touch of earthy magic to many of my pieces.
